Dr. Donna C. Martinez is keenly interested in fields of disability, education, preservice teacher instruction, and the policy process at the national, state, and local levels, as well as advocacy. Dr. Martinez earned her doctorate from The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development in special education – with honors. And now Donna is enjoying and exploring the culture, language and life in Chile with family and pets. She is active in Democrats Abroad and is a consulting member of Red VIIC (Vida Independiente e Inserción en la Comunidad)a coalition of foundations working towards community inclusion for citizens with intellectual disabilities in Chile.
